No billionaires, millionaires, mafia bosses, bikers, or rock stars make an appearance in the pages of my small-town romances.

I write characters we can identify and connect with. If they look familiar, that's because they could be in our circle of friends. My heroes are goal driven and focused on success, although if a friend or a stranger needs help, they roll up their sleeves and dive in at the drop of a dime. A romance, though, is the farthest thing on their minds—because love is a fickle thing, right? But hey, sometimes they just can't see the forest for the trees.
